Many of the swing errors of the modern day golfer come from
5 basic areas :
Aim of the club head
The grip
Ball position
Stance
Posture
Making a good grip
For the right handed golfer, make sure your left hand is
about an inch from the top of the grip when placing the hands
on the club. The 'v' formed between the thumbs and forefingers
of each hand, should point to a position between the chin
and the right shoulder.
Guidelines for a better putting stroke
The most common grip is the reverse overlap, this is where
the index finger of the left hand overlaps the fingers of
the right. The feet should be positioned about 8 to 10 inches
apart, your body weight should be balanced to allow your eyes
to be directly above the ball. The stroke should represent
a pendulum, in other words the length, speed and line of your
backswing should then be the same on your forward swing.
